Harvey and Roger Tam – directors of Rovey Service Group Inc., bring along years of experience in hospitality, food and beverages, and special event management. With more than 15 years hospitality experience, Harvey and Roger have held many management and supervisory positions in different major Chinese restaurants in the G.T.A., Richmond Hill, and Markham area. The two brothers have also assisted different Chinese restaurants in developing their Chinese banquet catering department.
Harvey and Roger have advanced their career by joining the banquet team of major hotels and banquet halls. Beginning with their training in Sheraton Parkway (Toronto North) Hotel, thanks to the dedicated training of the Banquet management as well as the Sales and Catering management of the hotel, the two brothers have widely exposed to different first class banquets serving, detail-oriented event coordination, superior banquet management, and professional sales and catering techniques. From the outstanding expertise gained and the enthusiasm of the two brothers, they have gained recognition in the banquet industry and excelled to different management positions of operations and sales in different major venues.
For maximum career expansion, Harvey and Roger established Rovey Service Group in 1999. The two brothers continue their excellence in banquet management as well as sales and catering coordination to the hundreds of exquisite events of Rovey. Acted as Chinese Banquet Consultants, Harvey and Roger have also provided professional assistance to different venues in the development of Chinese banquet department. The two brothers have been industrially recognized as the Experts of Chinese Catering Events. Harvey has also recently earned his Certified Hospitality Supervisor (C.H.S.) designation from International recognized American Hotel and Lodging Association.
